Greetings! Flo's Journey's T-Shirts are now on sale!
Attached to this post is a link to our Flo's Journey's t-shirts. There are three designs currently and they cost about 30-35 dollars (size dependent.) With each t-shirt your purchase $20 will go to help sending a kid to Ramapo for Children for a summer session.
Tomorrow, I'll say more about the three designs, who designed them, their connections to Flo, some of the meanings in the shirts, and so on.
BUT I'd also like to share two t-shirts that aren't for sale.
1. My 2005 Ramapo Staff Shirt
The most challenging summer of my life was in 2005 when I worked at Ramapo for Children, and it was also one of the greatest learning experiences, and in retrospect one of my most important summers. Not only did I learn a lot during the next 8 summers, but I also made long lasting and incredible friendships, one of them being with Flo.
2. My AIDA, Metropolitan Opera Staff Shirt
Flo, wasn't the most sentimental guy in the world, but one time he left his Aida staff shirt at my place in Dorchester. I talked to him on the phone to let him know he left it, and he replied "OH fudge! Just keep it. Argh. It's a gift, Bill!"
T-shirts often have a lot of sentimental value to us, and I'd like to highjack that sentimental value and get you to buy a couple of these sick t-shirts, and at the same time help send a kid to camp! Please, buy a shirt, post about what shirt you bought, and about some of your most meaningflo shirts that you own. Include the website in your post, and help us try to send one, maybe even two or more kids to Ramapo for Children for the summer of 2025.
If you have any questions, please let me know!
If people still use hashtags, try #meaningflo or #flosjourney
